Did you ever make this work? I have the Truxedo LoPro and found a used MX4 that I would like to have. I just hate to spend the money and have it not work.
No, I’m still scouring the web to see if anyone has the MX4 and did a retrofit Elevate Rack. My MX4 fits so well I don’t want to remove it. All I want is to put T-slot rails on my bed rails without touching the MX 4 seal and then mount the Elevate rack to the rail. I hope someone here has done that and made it work.

Got a better picture from the elevate TS rail installation instructions. The site says it is not compatible with BAKFlip MX4. But I’m wondering if it would still work?? That hard folding cover rail profile in this picture is exactly like my BAKFlip MX4 profile. ?

I have the Ford Tri-Fold which basically the same as the BakFlip MX4 and installed the RealTruck TruXedo Elevate TS Rails | 1118329 | Fits 5' to 5'4" Beds - Compact Trucks (56" Rail Length).

It's a tight fit to close the cover and have it latch. But it works. You'll have to remove the existing foam weather seaI on the bed cover rail and replace it with a thinner one provided in the TS rail kit.

I was surprised there's not much bed pinch rail to clamp to. Wish there was more flange length on the bed pinch rail. The bed pinch rail is shorter than what's shown in the picture, it's length is about at the bottom of the TS rail flange is shown in the picture. The bed clamps didn't have much to hold onto and tended to rotate the rails when clamped down. Took a bit of finesse to clamp the rails down with them rotating.

The backside clamp contacting the pinch rail needs to be all the way up into the corner. The TS instruction pictures has it way to low. The rails will rotate if you clamp it as shown in the instructions.

The t-slot rail doesn't quite sit flat on the top; there a few gap here or there. I might not have held the t-slot rail down enough when I clamped it. Or maybe I should have shimmed the horizontal flange of the t-slot to the bed side.

The t-slot install seem solid enough all things considered. When I grab the included hold-down cleats and shake them, the whole bed moves with it. Solid. In the future, I may screw down T-Slot rail to the bed side if there are problems under load.

Here's what it looks like on my 2022 Ranger.

Fantastic, thank you! This is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm hoping to do just this later in the fall, and have been wondering how it would work with my Ford tonneau cover.

I agree @LaBalbe this is fantastic. Thanks @LugaMagnus for the detailed pictures. I noticed that there is a lot of room between the T slot and your bed cover seal. This would probably defeat the purpose of buying the rails, but I was thinking of cutting the T slot rail right along that seal on the bed cover and just bolting the T slot rail to my bed rail. Given you have it mounted do you think that would be stable enough?

It seems to be strong enough as is, but bolting the T-slot rail would just make it even stronger than just clamping it down per the instructions.

You might not need to cut the t-slot rail down it's length. Could just install per the instructions then bolt it down. That is my plan B, if I run into issues with the setup under load. Still waiting for my Xtrusion XBRS cross bars I ordered to come in so I can test it out for real.

I should be back from the lake in early September. If you need a place to do this installl, my garage is full of tools and has tons of room to do the work. If it’s really late in the fall, it’s heated too.

Also, I’m pretty sure there’s a cold beer or two in the fridge. Let me know.

Thanks, Duke! I really appreciate that. It'll probably be later in the fall, so I definitely might take you up on that.
