no, just plug in and follow the prompts on the device. Very easy to use.

yes still available. and yes I have used it, it is set back to stock. I got a tune and that device is able to perform the same function so I have no need for this anymore.

1. Does this throw any codes? In other words, is this better than the forscan method or does it do the same thing?

2. Does this have a limited license?

does not throw codes, does the same as forscan. Just another option if you do not want to use forscan. As long as the device is set back to stock when plugged into your vehicle then it can be used by anyone else.
