I don't drive my vehicles decorated but most of the show's and cruises have a Trunk or Treat for the kids in October. Here is my Barracuda from the Mass Cruisers Trunk or Treat last Thursday and my Hot Rod from the Great Pumpkin show yesterday.

Growing up my friend had a bunch of these older VW's. You could get them cheap back then (late 70's) and he would fix them up and sell them to make a little money while we were still in high school. He had his license before me and would pick me up most mornings but his had no heat. Looking back it would've been smarter/warmer to take the bus. lol ?

Yep, I had a bunch of them too. Cheap transportation back in high school days.
Kept an ice scraper on hand for the inside of the windshield. Throw 50 lbs in the trunk for winter, never got stuck in the snow with any of them. Parts were easy and cheap to find, easy to fix...
Ahhh, the good old days...

My dad wouldn't help my oldest sister buy her 1st car so for about $50 she bought a 70s model VW bug that had been crashed and rolled at least once, it looked like a pop can that got crunched and pulled back together to vaguely resemble what it originally was. Doors wouldn't latch so she had a thin rope tied between the screwed on door handles. Guys at H.S. used to pick it up and move around the school lot. When Dad saw her giving me a ride in it he made her sell it and he finally helped her buy something else.
