You are right about that. I've had two cars stolen in my life, recovered in under 24 hours, and both, luckily, were totaled out.
The bad part was that they were paid for. I replaced them with used cars, and had a car payment for a while. That was the sucky part.

friend of mine had his truck stolen and it was recovered in very sad shape. insurance company is giving him run around since it was returned to him, but its basically totaled. spray painted, parts stripped, seats torn up, missing window glass, stinks inside like boiled cabbage and skanky weed mixed with mold. anything worth selling gone, truck bed full of trash like empty beer cans and trailer park clothes. almost made me wanna cry, it was a nice truck before that. lariat f350 leather the works. came back looking like a tilt-a-whirl operator and retired waffle house waitress had a secret child
