Hi there folks,

I'm new here, nice to virtually meet everyone!

I've just swapped over from a 2011 Navara d40 with no end of issues, to a 2016 Ranger 2.2 XLT, However I'm a little confused with a few things regarding my specific truck that I cannot find any information about anywhere...

So, I've attached some pictures but need clarification on a few things:

I know there are various iterations of the Ranger models etc, different trim levels and different add ons you can get, but I'm a little confused with mine..

It's an XLT model, registered in September 2016, south African made (I think)

-It doesn't have roll bars, just a metal guard for the rear screen. Was this an option?

-It has cruise control, fancy steering wheel but only the basic LCD instrument panel. Can I swap this out for the wildtrak/Limited instrument cluster and then reprogram the mileage in with ForScan?

-It doesn't have a rear bumper, but does have a full tow bar? Worried theres no option to add rear parking sensors. Im wondering why would a rear bumper be an option (?)

-No cool box under arm rest? Storage doesnt seem to have the cooling feature that I thought they all had.

-No puddle lights or indicators on wingmirrors, but they are heated and are electric

-Has TPMS, but lcd screen doesnt show the pressures, only a warning when one of them is low, ans doesnt tell you which one, or how low... kind of useless in some aspects.

-No 240v plug in the tub or in the rear center console thingy (behind the center storage/arm rest)? Its covered by a piece rubber in the tub... was really hoping this was in here but totally forgot to look when viewing the thing.

-Doesn't have a reverse cam? I'm assuming this was an option on the XLT. What are the chances the wiring is in there for it? So I can just add in the logo camera. Where would I look for a plug/loom/wiring and do I need to add in a fuse?

-No roof rack, again an option?

-Seems to have 17" wheels

- No adblue tank? (Thankfully for this) but I went to view other rangers of the same age, and they had adblue tanks? Wonder why this is.

I'm wondering if mine was more of a work-truck spec for a company or business, as it's very basic in some areas like an XL but the odd sprinkling of tech to make it feel like an XLT

Many thanks

John
