Somehow I still have this thing. Got lost in the garage. Mega bump:

Purchased this rear swaybar kit last year for my Tremor and fabricated some quick disconnects for the swaybar links, but I wasn't super stoked on the loss of ground clearance and it was a bit difficult to find a way to keep the bar out of the way when disconnected.

The bar has never been actually installed, it has no scratches or marks; I only mocked it up. It appears brand new in box, I only removed it once.

I paid $700+ with tax and shipping. Asking $600. NEW 2025 PRICE: $375 SHIPPED!

It's pretty big and quite heavy, so local is preferred, but if you want to pay for shipping I will provide dimensions and you can send me a prepaid label.

Does not include the custom disconnects; however I can point you in the right direction on where to get the shaft/pins to replace the bolts (uses the Hellwig links, only diff hardware).

Hi Max,

You bring up a good point....this bar is best for pavement only Rangers...really not suitable for off road....And it does change handling to the vehicle and upsets roll stiffness balance to a degree, which might not be desirable. Hellwig may be a solution for folks desiring a more tail out handling oversteer than most folks...

Best,
Phil

I would venture to say that 99% of the Rangers on the road, and on here, see pavement 99 to 99.9% of the time.

The vehicle drastically benefits from a swaybar in all situations, but especially when weighted; ie a camper top, RoofTopTent, or trailer.

Most "off-roading" for people is gravel roads and fire roads. None of this requires anything special.

The only time it doesn't work is for serious trails or situations where ground clearance is an issue.

Also, oversteer is way safer, assuming you know what you're doing. =)
