Worse still prostrate can also spread to your bones - and when it does you are toast. I had a prostrate biopsy done some 10 yrs back , psa was slightly elevated, today they wouldn't do a biopsy based on that. Tale of 2 psa levels - older brother had psa of 28, biopsied, no cancer. Friend who is 4 yrs younger had psa of 24 and he had cancer, underwent extensive radiology treatments.
Had occasional blood in my urine , it got worse so went to urologist who discovered several bladder stones - fortunately these were removed with a laser , with prostrate cancer I've been told around 10% is the aggressive kind that can send you off to the grim reaper.

So true. I had a coworker who wasn't aware he had it. He just retired then found out he had it bad and it has spread aggressively.

FYI I get daily Web MD emails, this one is regards potential prostate cancer symptoms , I was experiencing blood in my urine and frequent urination but fortunately it was nothing more than 3 marble sized bladder stones - something I previously had never heard of . But the urologist prepped me for possible worst case scenario and with the scope up there thru my pee pee upon discovering just bladder stones he exclaimed " ureka, all you have is just 3 bladder stones" , ok pls gently get that scope outta there.
