Worse still prostrate can also spread to your bones - and when it does you are toast. I had a prostrate biopsy done some 10 yrs back , psa was slightly elevated, today they wouldn't do a biopsy based on that. Tale of 2 psa levels - older brother had psa of 28, biopsied, no cancer. Friend who is 4 yrs younger had psa of 24 and he had cancer, underwent extensive radiology treatments.
Had occasional blood in my urine , it got worse so went to urologist who discovered several bladder stones - fortunately these were removed with a laser , with prostrate cancer I've been told around 10% is the aggressive kind that can send you off to the grim reaper.
