Global Windows W/ Window Modules and forscan settings applied.

Hello all, I have searched the forum and have come to no avail. I am wondering what I am missing to get my Global Windows to work in my ranger. I installed modules in each passenger window to give it one touch up/down capabilities on both the passenger switches and the driver main switch. I then applied the necessary changes to Forscan to enable the setting in the dash. Activated both setting for remote up/down, it still does not function. This is probably the biggest gripe I have other than the suspension coming from a focus st 6 months ago. Any help on if there is anything else I need. I am not interested in doing the auto windows/folding mirror module from RedTek or anything from TracElectronics as those are are the window modules I currently have installed in the passenger windows.

Sorry to bearer of bad news . The module you bought and installed will only give you one touch operation of the windows. I was surprised you said that you also got one touch from the driver switches. To get global window operation with your remote fob, you need the other module from Redtek or Trac. They also include auto mirror folding as part of the deal.

There is nothing you can do in Forscan to add either of these features. Our trucks do not have the door modules required from the factory. Not every function that shows up in Forscan will work on our Rangers.

The website I bought the modules from stated on the website that the driver switches would work as one touch as well as the pass switches. I just assumed that since it would all work as it did in my old FoST that if I enabled GW in ForScan it would work. Oh well such is life lol.
