FordPass problem with vehicle location

We bought our Ranger this past Wednesday. The dealer had us load the FordPass app on both of our iPhones. The app appears to be working because we can use the remote lock/unlock/start features and it dynamically tells us the fuel level and odometer readings. The problem is, it refuses to update the vehicle location. It still shows the dealer's lot from where we purchased it last Wednesday and says "Updated Dec 16, 2020" at the bottom even though that date has long since come and gone. I forced the app to refresh and nothing changes. I even deleted the app and re-installed it. Still nothing. Anyone else have this problem?

Did you press the little "Refresh" icon above where it says December 16? Also, I believe you need to turn on location tracking in the settings on the truck. Mine isn't always exact with that. Right now it shows my truck as being three houses away. There are other threads in here for the same issue.

As @port43 said, make sure the Location setting is turned on. On the Sync screen, it is under Settings/Fordpass Connect/Connectivity.

If that is already on, does the truck have built-in Nav And does it know where it is?

That did the trick! I went into settings and turned on Location and now the app works as I expected it to work. Thank you for that simple suggestion. That solved my problem.
