Ford Ranger 3.2 automatic 2015

Hi all, so I've recently had an issue with my ranger 6 speed automatic transmission and replaced it with a brand new second hand transmission (all of it) however it seems to be having issues with jolting when it goes into 2nd gear or 4th even after programming it and making sure its topped up on its ATF

Any further help on the matter would be greatly appreciated! If you have any more questions about the specs just ask and I'd answer the best I can!!

Probably be better if you asked on a forum that is for your gen Ranger. This forum is for the 2019-2023 Ranger.

Fords have had tranny issues for as long as I have owned them, It could be me though LOL
you wont be any better off with a 5th gen and 6th gen is still a wait and see ....
but 5th Gen is a solid truck, you will love it when you get one!

He has a 5G Ranger! It is just a version from the UK that came out before it was brought back to the US.

Is it jolting because of the trans or bucking at low speed regardless of gear? Over here we've had a known issue with the EGR sensors going bad or getting moisture in them and causing that kind of thing and it's a pretty easy fix.

Since the replacement, have you driven it enough for the transmission adaptive shift strategy to complete?
