Electronic Fax Machine Noise?

[MINI Ranger]

My Lariat makes a door unlocking noise whenever any door handle is touched. I have to not have the key in my pocket when handwashing as water hose and dring towel movements near handles will activate central locking system.
I haven't noticed another noise related to driver's door only, but fuel pump activation is quite common with door opening on many late model cars.

Hi Folks,

I do not have this noise, but activating the fuel pump does not seem like a good idea until three ignition is on. Pressure in the fuel rail should hold. Will try to get a old of friends still at Ford to try to track this down.
