Hello all,

I've had my 2021 Ranger for about three months now and I've started to notice this weird buzzing sound coming from my door panel speakers. Sometimes it comes from my driver side, other times my passenger side and it will come and go during certain parts of the songs. I've linked a short clip of what it sounds like, can anyone help me with what might be causing this? Thanks!

(I do have the upgrades B&0 system and I can't say im really impressed, my 2010 Mazda 3 had better sound with its stock Bose speakers)

my bass is 3/4 turned up and the volume is just a hair over half.

Dumb question: is there anything in the door pockets where you hear the rattle? I've had rattles caused by metal water bottles, sunglasses, garage door openers, sunglass holders, and more.

Doesn't really sound like a blown speaker to me, and after having the doors open this weekend I'm hard pressed to imagine what could cause the rattle you are experiencing.

Nothing in the door. Just curious why it started all of a sudden. Perhaps something I should have the dealer check out? What are other possibilities if blown speaker is off the table. Hmm.

I have a 2020 Ranger Lariat with the B&O system. Dealer could not find the rattle on my left drivers door. With certain thumping songs I had an annoying rattle. I removed the door panel.. Find Utube vids for panel removal (lots of hidden screws). Remove the paper carefully. Behind the metal panel you will find 2 cable channels that feel like tubes crossing each other in the middle of the door panel. Through the lower larger hole reach up and you can feel them. you can also use a mirror to see them. These cable channels are what makes the window go up and down. you will find that these cable channels are resting against the metal panel. Just reach up you will feel them and when you grab the channels the vibration will go away. To fix this I used two sided tape onto a thin piece foam between the metal panel and the channel. No too thick though, otherwise it will move the channels into the window path. Hope this helps. I did not take pictures.

could it be noise that is in the track. precision clean recording is not popular these days. more songs in less space is the in trend sadly. could be something loose inside the door or clip that is resonant when a certain freq is being played.
