Good Afternoon everyone,

I was in the process of replacing the front left window in my 19 ranger crewcab xlt (Burglary x2 as they busted out two windows), when this tiny retainer broke on me. It is the piece that secures the door cable to the latch that is riveted in. I was as careful as I could be, but this one gave out on me as I tried to slide it out of its snap. Would anyone know a part number or how to find one of these? Thank you for the suggestions.

This part was extremely annoying to find as the service illustrations and part number pictures online don't quite reflect what you see. I believe by the way this part is made it may find itself being a problem with more wear on these vehicles in the future. The part is actually included in the latch cable itself for the interior door and is labelled by Ford as a door handle link. As mine wasn't totally destroyed, just a broken clip I used some plastic epoxy on the snap, and reinforced the cable keeper with some industrial 3m glue, and I'm confident this fix will last for quite some time.
