Disable Seat belt Chime

Hey guys, I hope this is in the right section- A question about my buddy's '20 F150 Regular Cab.
He wanted to disable his seat belts reminder (chime) so he kept these clips inserted in the seatbelts to over-ride the chime reminder-all the time even when the truck is off and parked.
Recently he got a Check Charging System reminder light on the dash so he brought it in to the dealer and they checked the charging system and installed a brand new battery. All good, the light went away.
Now the light came back on in the dash.
Question to those in the know- Could these override thingamagings drain the battery when the truck is off?

I did it to my truck and don’t have battery issues. Something else has to be a parasitic drain on the system somewhere

Apparently the chime is way louder on the F150 than our Rangers-drives him nuts-I told him he's supposed to be wearing his seat belt for crying out loud!
Safety first man.....

If you wanna get into the software using Forscan you can disable everything. I have my seatbelts, door open and startup chimes all off and good riddance.

I did the same thing. Was at the dealer for my recall items and the service manager opens the driver door. He stops a sec and turns to me and says, hey key is in it? Yup I reply. He says no chimes, have to look at that! Me: nope, it’s done on purpose!

Yeah I'm waiting for the dealer to have a reaction to that stuff (have the raptor startup screen too, silent mode). DON'T CHANGE IT BACK GUYS!!
