+1 - I use S a lot - with a 2" lift and 285/70R17 tires S mode comes in handy in anything uphill, downhill or twisty. D is great for around town and super-slabbing to interesting spots, but S is my go-to when the driving gets fun!

It's great where you need a little extra power to pass a slow vehicle or climb a hill etc. Comes in handy for some spirited driving too! Add a tune and be prepared for some smiles per mile.
