Current Wait Times on Toppers, Canopies? Snugtop, Leer, Century, ARE?

Anyone inquire or order recently?

What did the dealers say about wait times on the major brands?

My Ranger build week is Aug 22nd. Guessing delivery could be anywhere from end of Sept to - 3 months out - November, God forbid! Hard to forecast delivery these days.

This puts canopy topper order timing into question.

Think I want a Snugtop Rebel but may be flexible, might have to be.

So, what have you heard?

@RangerJohn that's over 5 months by my math! Oof, probably won't go A.R.E. I did hear they're the worst for wait times these days. Looks nice!

Yeah the color match is perfect and free headliner (looks like bed rug) I am happy so far but wish I would have got a rack on it.

I ordered a Leer 180 cap on July 29 and was told it would be about 8 to 10 week. They told me that ARE would take a little bit longer.

RSI Smartcap ordered 3/29. No ETA.

Contacted for update 7/15 and was told they think they are on a boat somewhere, but have no clue when they will show up.

Walked into Altitude Industries in Wheat Ridge, Colorado to put a RhinoRack on the roof of Rex the Ranger and left that day with the RhinoRack and an RLD Design cap. They had them in stock, although I don’t know if they still do.

Along with manufacturing our line of aluminum truck caps, we are also a dealer for Jeraco fiberglass truck caps. Orders for fiberglass caps for my customers are averaging about 3 weeks order time, but not unusual for them to be ready as soon as 2 weeks. We pick up a the factory though where as probably most dealers have to wait for delivery, so I'm sure that cuts down on some wait time.

Ordered an Alu-Cab Explorer back in February when the distributor in this part of the world announced that they’d have a version for the Ranger in “early summer”. Even sounded like it was “on the water” shortly after my order. Fast forward to August, and a very embarrassed distributor tells me that my cap never actually existed, that Alu-Cab decided not to make a cap for the NA Ranger until their new model comes out next year…. Too bad, their cap was almost perfect for our needs. At least I have that $4700 back for other mods now.
