I wanted to put this in the General Forum so it might get more coverage. I was looking for DIY videos on YouTube when I ran across this. I seems there is a big market for counterfeit Motorcraft parts out there. Ebay, and even Amazon have these listed. This is a good video on how to tell the difference on a couple different parts. So, DIYers beware.

Knew it was going on but to this extent is an eye opener. Once again, usually get what you pay for. If it’s to good a deal better to pass it by.

Reduce the likely hood of counterfeits by buying reputable distributors and sellers. For me I save money on engine and cabin filters by buying from a distributor like Factory Motor Parts in California.
