For the guys on the forum that work at the plant...is there any tolerance specification for the front bumper alignment to the front body area? While I see some pre-production Rangers where that gap is consistent, it seems like a lot of the ones so far have slightly different alignments. Thanks for any input.

It's not as bad as the F150. It looks like the front bumper got hit and it's slightly hanging down in the front. It's always bothered me and it's on every one I see from 2015 and up.

I bet if you look close, you'll see scraping on the bottom of air deflector where they pulled to close to the curb and it grabbed as they backed out of the parking spot.

Nope. Go to the dealer lot and you will see quite a few misaligned.

So I looked at my work today, of the 8 2015 or newer trucks 6 had the wierd angle, 1 didn't, it looked straight. The other truck is lifted with a custom bumper and is not fit for the conparicom.

Thanks for the info. I was at our local dealer over the weekend. Might just be my mind playing tricks with the eyes. I'll see if I can get some pics for comparison.

Hopefully the Ranger is better. I've been looking at the F150 for the past couple of years but that bumper sag really bothers me and I see it on virtually every one of them. So far from the pics, the Ranger is pretty well put together.

If you like seeing the manufacturer's defects... check out GM trucks and SUVs. Above the wheel wells they are all wavy from the stamping. Same as Jeep products above the quarter panel windows. Or F150 doors.
Those are some I can think of off the top of my head.

Just bought a 23 Ranger and my bumper is miss aligned! Attempt to adjust it, but all he did was lower it so damn far that the two rubber pieces on each end are totally uneven now. Ugh.
