For me, the detailing of my vehicles is almost like therapy. I have always used that time to kind of clear my head of the days BS. Some call it anal, or overkill but I have always enjoyed clean vehicles so I continue the tradition.

Different strokes for different folks….definitely a lot to be said for knowing what makes the day or week’s BS filter away.
