Watched this video as well. I agree with him that by the looks of it that trail boss interior is pathetic for a 40k+ vehicle. Its annoying to me that in the truck market they jack up the price and give you less for your money than buying say a midsize suv. No LED headlights, no wrap on the steering wheel, hard plastics on essentially all of the touch points. These car companies are trying to act as though 40-60k is not a lot of money. I mean when I was looking at a Gladiator they had some that were over 40k that did not have power windows or locks. Pricing needs to come way back to reality.

I made the decision (a few weeks ago) to cancel my Bronco order and move on from this fiasco. Between Fords latest emails to us a few weeks ago about changing your order to something THEY want you to build and this long wait I’ve lost all interest now. Plus I’m still in the low 400’s on the dealers list and no way they’re going to get 400+ allocations in the next few months. Then when it doesn’t get pulled Ford has said they’re most likely going to wipe the books clean of all past reservations and now you’ll have to start fresh and reorder again. That means the 2020 price protection will be gone and seeing how much these (and everything else) have gone up over the past couple years it makes it not really worth it for me now.

My buddy (actually it’s his wife’s) who had a day 1 reservation and finally got theirs last June is now selling his. He asked me if I wanted first shot at it and it only has 3,000 miles, been garaged since December and he’s more OCD than I am if you can believe that. lol It’s close to what I was going to order (2dr Badlands, white, non SAS, High package) but they have a lot more options and accessories bringing it to $60K. Mine was only going to be $47K with the invoice pricing and $2,000 off dealer special. That’s way more than I wanted to spend on a toy right now. Plus now that I have my name on a list at 3 different dealers for a Ranger Raptor I’ll see what happens there. While I’m not going to get my hopes up at least there’s a better chance now at getting one. The B&P still isn’t out and we’re only guessing at what the price will be on those based on what the ROTW Raptors are going for. Looks like the wait is on again.

I wanted a Bronco, but the price and the availability made me just focus on restoring the wife's first vehicle, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic with the 4.0 liter.

Mike, it was a full size 2dr not the Bronco Sport model. Right now my plan is to wait until the B&P opens up fro the new Ranger Raptor and see what the price is, then see how they're going to be building it. Will it be right away or next year as that'll help me make my decision. Luckily I'm in no rush and only wanted the Bronco as a toy and might possibly end up with one if the Raptor falls through. ?‍

Local dealer that I left my 23 Badlands sitting has 35 on the lot. Raptors, wildtracks, whatever you want. Can even get 'em APlan...no markup...just sitting.

Anyone see this pic of the 3.0 bronco raptor - from Jalopnik , beastly ouput 418/440 but my goodness the complexity is scarry - and will Ford not have an engine cover for this ?

Waited 506 days for mine to get here. I will say I loved every second in my ranger but there is something with the Marine Grade Vinyl seats and flooring with drain plugs that makes the purchase of it seem worth it.

I got pretty decent trade value on the Ranger plus D plan so ended up around $5k under sticker when it was all said and done.

That's the same motor going in the Ranger Raptor. I don't think they make a cover that big. lol

I would be interested to get this link because I bet I could turn that 35 into zero in one week leaking that info on the bronco forum.

I'm keeping my day 6 reservation for a 2dr Badlands only because I might just get lucky and get it before the price protection runs out in December. Once that drops I'm out . A work associate here just received his day 3 reservation for a Base model 2dr Sasquatch a couple weeks ago . Mine was a fully loaded order but I dropped Squatch , tow and Lux for what good it will do . Ford really screwed 2dr folks as it only comes with the Mic top and if you change to a 4dr you automatically lose price protection . I re-ordered for a '23 as soon as possible but a month later they had to redo the papers because the price went up 2k more this year. I think the price increase is right at 5k over my initial reservation at this point. If I get it I get it and probably will be happy but the thrill is long gone now. If I don't get it now I really won't lose any sleep over it nor will Ford get any more of my money.

The Bronco 2 door doesn't look as good with the doors off as a Wrangler 2 door.
