So it’s snowing where I’m at and decided to have a little fun with the Ranger, found an empty parking lot and turned traction control off and locked rear diff. Whipped it to the left and punched it to start a donut and an electronic braking sound with occur almost like it does when in trail control mode. Is this normal?

Forgot to add, when that sound would occur the loose traction light would pop up on the dash.

You have to hold your traction control button down for 5 seconds to turn off the Stability control too. Otherwise it will still try to activate the ABS. I discovered this on our last snowfall here

Holy crap man thanks! I tried search the manual under traction control but didn’t even think of stability!

No Problem, Have fun. ✌? Just a note of caution, DO NOT forget to put it back on after having your fun. My truck was almost undriveable on the road in the snow without it, it was all over the place. Back end wanted to pass the front like it was a race. LOL. Almost lost control ?
