Back seat warning beeper

Can you disable the warning beeper for the back seat occupancy? It’s pretty annoying and as tragic as it is that people forget babies in the back seat, it seems like you should be able to easily disable it.

That must be a newer thing on the 2021 vehicles. I know on other Ford products, that you can disable it (for 6 months) in the sync screen... But I've only ever seen it on Sync Gen4 vehicles, so I'm not sure about if that feature is still there in the Sync3 systems... but again, my Ranger doesn't do that...

Turned off the "is anyone there" in a setting. I still have the warning if a seat belt is released before it goes in park, but with my digbat kids, I want that to stay on.

It's in the settings in the sync. Mine gave me a message after 6 months letting me know it was turned back on and I had to turn it off again.

Rear Occupant Alert System (If Equipped) - Switching Rear Occupant Alert System On and Off
SWITCHING REAR OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM ON AND OFF

1. Press Settings on the touchscreen.

1. Press Vehicle.

1. Switch Rear Occupant Alert on or off.

Note: The default setting is on.
Note: Performing a master reset causes the system to switch on again.
Semiannual Reminder
When you switch the system off, a message appears every six months as a reminder that the system is off. You can switch the system back on or leave it off.

better question is can we change the warning sound? it sounds so similar to the "you left your lights on stupid" beep, I have left my lights on, because I looked over my shoulder and my kids weren't there.
