Hello All.
Australian Ford Ranger member here with a ?DPF/EGR problem
2019 XLT 2.0L BiTurbo DieselBrief History:- Engine replaced (warranty) at 45,000km due to a Ford servicing error that resulted in an engine failure..
Currently has 56,XXX km
Problem;
Intermittently, the engine blows exhaust smoke from the engine bay every few hundred km. this is intermittent, and almost like when it's doing some kind of DPF 'regen' cycle or similar. The engine idles higher during this time, but after about a minute or two, the engine idle drops and the smoke no longer appears.
It is booked in for service again on Monday, but since ford was "unable to find" any issue last time, I wonder if anyone else had a similar problem/issue. I suspect its some kind of EGR sensor/valve etc, as it only happens infrequently. Can anyone point me towards a manual to where these sensors are so I can also check myself?
See video from two different times it's happened.

Any thoughts?
