Hi All

Just buying a 12v fridge for overlanding and want something better than a cigarette lighter connecter. Bought the Wolfhaus bed connector with splice so I can put one in bed with no problems, but a lot of the time, I will keep the fridge in the back of the cab. Seems Anderson connectors are the way to go. Wondering if anyone has swapped out any of the cab cigarette sockets with anderson power pole

Thanks

I dont see why they would be an issue. Love anderson power connectors. I may do the same now that you mentioned it! Just make sure you get the correct ones for the size wire/amperage.

I have APP run to the bed for my fridge. I just swapped one of my in-cab cig sockets for a quick charge USB and it fit with a very tiny amount of sanding, like maybe 1/64. The one I bought is 1-1/8” and the APP panel Mount uses the same diameter hole so you should be able to swap it quite easily.

looks good can you share the details of the parts. I'm assuming that's an APP with voltmeter in the pic?

That is one bright red light. Can it be dimmed or disabled?

The one I put in is USB. However, it is 1-1/8” in diameter which is the same as:

As such, it should fit with minimal trimming. Keep in mind, of course, that just takes care of the mounting. For wiring, you’re gonna need something heavier than what’s there for the cig socket. You’ll need to run the proper gauge wire directly from the battery for your desired amperage. Google ampacity to gauge charts for this.
