Has anyone installed the RK Sport aftermarket hoods? I am looking into getting one. Only if the hood scoop is functional...
https://www.rksport.com/category-s/2351.htm
Qustion...How much heavier is the fiberglass hood than the OEM Aluminum hood? Does this hood feed the air inlet or just dump air into the engine compartment?

best,

I asked the same questions to RK Sport directly. I also asked about fitment with the carbon fiber vs. the fiberglass.

Good questions, The hood looks good, wish they would paint it.

It does look like a great option. For weight I would go with Carbon fiber. Also it is functional as stated in the description.

I think I am going to opt in for the carbon fiber hood and paint it to match the truck.
