odd situation.

so i have a rock/bug/whatever sheild on my hood. under that is PPF that goes half way up my hood.
part of my wants the black hood deflector gone, but i’m not sure how to release the tape without compromising the ppf under it.

i know ppf likes alittle heat to release, so a heat gun is out i guess.
you think putting goo gone along the edge of the shield and dental floss/fishing line would work?
i really don’t want to have to peel ppf up and redo it.
open to all ideas.

You might want to try WD-40.

You're going to compromise it no matter what, its sucks but in the long run for patience sake, just redo the film.
