Finally got the kind of Tailgate letters I had on my 2017 Tacoma. Love the 3D and Carcinoma Fiber look on the Lightning Blue Metallic Ranger!

Amazon. Tufskinz Tailgate letters. Not cheap, but much better than the thin matte black vinyl letters IMHO!

They look really good! And you're right about them not being cheap. I bought their grill letters (still need to install) and decided to pass on the tailgate for now because of the price.
