I just heard that the Ranger Raptor is available in a 2 seater version in the Netherlands.

Due to Tax construction, calculated by weight, fuel type etc. And the fact that the cargo space isn't large enough to register it as a comercial vehicle.The price for a diesel Raptor would be more than 100.000EUR. Plus some 235EUR/month ownership tax. Ford decided this vehicle was unable to be sold as a 4 seater.

The solution is a modification to make it a 2-seater. And thus make it cheaper.

Here's a picture of the 'Dutch' Ranger Raptor.

Glad I could get mine in Spain...

Though it might be an interesting option for 2 person only users. And travelers who prefer more storage. And keeping valuables stored dry and safe, out of their bed.
Also pets could be separated. So it might be an interesting 'upgrade'?

That's.. Interesting!! Partitioning the cab kind of makes for a cool storage area, but wouldn't it have been easier to offer seat deleted supercab?

Or just a seat delete for the supercrew? I'm assuming the cab partition is nessesary to conform with regulations? Still, it's cool to look at, although I don't think I'd buy one!

The cargo area has to be separated from the passenger area. This way the total cargo area is large enough (%) to be registered as a commercial vehicle. Saving on sales and registration taxes. As well as on owners tax. Which is also expensive at 235EUR per month!

Detail of characters do not look great without the gaps in 'R-A-P-R'.

So Ranger will only become available in the Netherlands with removed rear seats. And rear side windows replaced by non see-through plastics.

The Ranger Raptor without taxes will cost 49.075 euro.

You can add 2 different packages;
- Lifestyle-edition 1.595 excl. 21% tax. For camping and lifestyle drivers.
- Artisan-edition 2.195 excl. 21% tax. For workers and tool carriers.
