Do they have to tell prospective buyers that this NEW truck on the lot has had the ENGINE replaced by the DEALER and not the factory ?

I'm not sure if they HAVE to, but I'd sure hope they would. But it wouldn't stop me from buying it. The worst-case scenario is a dealer does nothing, and you are stuck with a leaky engine and "they don't know why", leaving you with months of agony trying to get your truck fixed.
