I'm not sure if they HAVE to, but I'd sure hope they would. But it wouldn't stop me from buying it. The worst-case scenario is a dealer does nothing, and you are stuck with a leaky engine and "they don't know why", leaving you with months of agony trying to get your truck fixed.Do they have to tell prospective buyers that this NEW truck on the lot has had the ENGINE replaced by the DEALER and not the factory ?
