Found a sand pit the other day. Hope y'all enjoy these shotty drifts in 4ft deep sand. I definitely did!
edit: i think vids can only play on chrome
This is exactly what I was afraid of doing haha. Pulling apart the wires from behind the unit is something that I’m not too comfortable with (my expertise is fab work). But it does sound like the logical thing to do at this point. Thanks a lot for the info!
okay I’ll give this a go. I don’t have much confidence though I’ve tried close to 10 different USB cables including a flash drive who’s only purpose is to light up a small LED and that wouldn’t even go off. But the multimeter would be good to see if this is a wiring issue or software issue. Thanks
yea I’m not gonna lie I’ve had to do the same troubleshooting tricks before as well. I would always plug my phone in before or after starting the truck, never in between or else sync would freak out. But I would always still have power when that would happen. With this I’ve tried every wire and...
So both of my 2 front USB ports stopped working 3 weeks ago. I don’t know what happened since they worked perfectly fine before that. I’ve been looking everywhere for a fix. I checked the fuse, it’s fine, I restarted the sync system, nothin. My only thought is that the ports themselves just quit...
Update:
Threw on some BFG 33” and some performance upgrades.
Got the MBRP charge pipes
I should be installing a boost gauge in the next week or so
However I’m dealing with a weird problem, my USB ports completely died so I have no way to connect to CarPlay anymore. They shut off almost 3 weeks...
I’ve been looking over a bunch of options for rock sliders and side steps to put on the ranger, my only hesitation is that I haven’t seen any on a ranger in person and I can’t find very many good pics and reviews of them online. If anyone on here has side steps or rock sliders on their rigs (non...
So does that mean if I am running the FP fine already then all I have to do is flash back to stock to run Forscan? Will all the adjustments made on Forscan roll over once I re-install the FP tune?
or is it just a bad idea to try and mix the 2..
I can see on one of the spread sheets that you can use forescan to turn on some off-road features that are only seen on lariat and FX4 packages. I only have an XLT, so if I were to buy the TM switch from ford and pair it to the forescan software that gives me terrain modes would they work or...
I haven’t had the opportunity to take the truck to the track yet so nothing is “official”. But doing some tests runs on an abandoned road I got ~ 4.6 secs 0-60 (4wd on, track control off, launching at 3000rpm)
Hit me up with any questions, I don’t post my stuff too much on the forums I kind of just creep around and gather information for future builds haha. This is my first thread where I really got the show off my build, I’m happy y’all like it!
