Thanks for all the replies. I went through Stage3 and bought two rear Bilstein 5100s. Makes a world of difference. The front end actually feels fine, it was the back end that was awful. For such a great truck it's surprising they use such awful rear shocks.

What is a good solution to fix how bouncy the rear of the FX4 model is? I imagine different shocks, I don't need to spend a lot of money lifting or modifying the truck.

I can see that point of view and that makes sense. However, wouldn't the electronic "oil life" thing take into consideration the short trips and cold weather that could make oil more inefficient?

If the MX schedule comes from marketing why would they lengthen the MX intervals if that shorts the service departments money? That seems counterintuitive?
