  2. Dumb question about oil changes?

Thanks to you and others sharing your knowledge and opinions! I've heard a few suggestions to consider "every 6 months" and can see the logic there. FYI, I have been getting a dashboard message recently saying close to oil servicing... so maybe Ford agrees with that ? As far as the manual goes...
  3. Dumb question about oil changes?

OK, this may be a dumb question- I'm not sure? I have a 2019 Lariat FX4 with appr 17800 miles on it. It has been 12 mos since my last oil change. I have dealership do the "works" service which involves oil change, rotate tires, and do some basic checks. I use the synthetic blend that is...

  5. Charging System, Service Now

Had a similar situation with my 2019 Ranger Lariat (with 17k miles). I have been having some issues with my battery for months and was monitoring and charging. Kept records of SOH (state of health), SOC (state of charge), voltage, CCA, etc. I started getting the same messages about...
  6. Another Mouse In The Truck Issue…

I had the same thing happen recently and was worried that I was going to have to bring to dealership again! Had a previous problem with a red squirrel that cost me $2800 and truck at dealership for 3 plus weeks! Anyway: what I did was took out cabin filter and got out the debris (mostly nut...

  9. Don't buy RainX Silicone Eundura Blades

Definitely agree with the Bosch wiper blades being the only ones I will ever buy! I've tried EVERY other high quality brands and was ALWAYS disappointed
  10. 2020 Ranger in bed tie down bolts

You're right - there are 4 tapped holes. I am presently using the top 2 for my tonneau cover mounts. BUT - - I could easily substitute the current bolt with an eye bolt that would be more useful! Thanks
  11. 2020 Ranger in bed tie down bolts

You could very well be correct? I will keep an "eye" on them :)
  12. 2020 Ranger in bed tie down bolts

No - but there are two "hidden" unused tapped holes (one hole on each side) above the tie-downs near the cab (a few inches below side rails). BTW I didn't the same exact M8 eye bolts that cfhgarza referred to - I got marine grade stainless steel ones for about $8.00 ea. Either would be good...
  13. 2020 Ranger in bed tie down bolts

Yes they work and seem to make a reasonably sturdy anchor point/ tie-down. I have all 6 tie-downs NOW (long story) so I don't need for the middle pair of tie-downs. I found 2 unused tapped holes upper bed near cab (both sides) where I mounted them
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Big improvement!! I have a 2019 Magnetic FX4 Lariat that could be your twin :) I plan to wait til my Hankooks need replacing tho. Like the KO2s alot.
  15. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Did you paint over the emblem with the paint pen? Looks like 3 colors used? Very Nice!!!
  16. Board across the back of the bed?

Very Nice!! I am planning one very similar (not built yet) with the 2x8s notched - all inside the bed. It will include a feature I saw elsewhere that includes a 21" x 43" plastic ice fishing sled (moveable and able to strap in diff locations) on the left hand side and custom sized compartments...
  17. Bed tie downs

Great Idea!! If you're alittle OCD like me - Spray the chain with PlastiDip. Problem solved :)
  18. Tailgate seal

This is the tailgate seal I got when truck was a week old - really bugged me having huge gap... this seal has worked well for me
