Thank you, yeah I saw this in the other thread and it gave me confidence for tow package equipped XL's to have the wiring necessary, and not have to run anything to the battery, or figure out where to tie into for the signal wire. I'll be taking a much more careful look next time around for that.

Agree with the above, looks great!! I’m not a good fabricator but am hopeful that kits will emerge in due time and give us normals a chance to have a similar appearing rig.

Oh interesting, so they are in a different place than on other models? Apologies as I am not a current owner, rather a prospective one and just making sure what is or is not there, as I've read a few posts that make it seem like a daunting task if those wires are not present.

Thank you, however I was referring to getting the trailer brake controller tied into the vehicle. XL model owners seem to be screwed with regard to getting the TBC integrated easily, even if their trucks have the trailer tow package.

Edds Yeah that is something I'd like to avoid if possible. I'm okay with doing a little wiring myself (emphasis on little), but I'd love to know where to start looking to the appropriate connections so it doesnt take me all day.

Thank you, that’s still a decent amount of travel. Hopeful that once more owners lower, there might be those who build and fit airbags to assist with heavier payloads or towing scenarios.

With the flip done, how much space is left between the axle and the frame? Do you think towing or hauling will be compromised much at this height?

The 255/45/18 looks pretty meaty on the 18x9 wheel I have. A similar width on a 20" should look great and still be a bit smaller in diameter than the stock 17.
