  1. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

I'd love a straight long storage option under the rear bench and behind the back rest as well. Locked in place with a hidden switch that cannot be activated until the engine is in accessory mode. But one could wish for snow in july too.
  2. Key Fob, Keyless Entry

    Give this a try too.
  3. Key Fob, Keyless Entry

Not sure if there is a thread on this, but just to be aware that your keyless entry option may not be secure. The video explains what has been happening with car thieves and the Key Fob RF signal.
  4. Kill switch in 2026?

How can I step in the trap, when you are already there. Plenty of folks just go along to get along, while not knowing what they are giving up. I do not know you, or your background, what you studied, or your profession. But from my perspective, my observations elevate my awareness of what is...
  5. Kill switch in 2026?

There is an incremental movement towards total control over everything. Its done ever so slightly so that you move with it unconsciously. "Oh, its for our health, ok. Oh, its to protect our safety, ok. Oh, its for the environment, ok. Oh its to protect democracy, Ok." In the end, it was for...
  6. Kill switch in 2026?

Everything starts off as health and safety. Think Patriot Act. Was supposed to be temporary, restrictive and renewed every few years. That is how the FISA court came about. The abuse of the federal govt knows no bounds, integrity or honor. What they say each time for your safety is to...
  7. Kill switch in 2026?

Which tin foil hat theory has been proven wrong? Some are out right Nostradomus style predictions. So now, They signed a law that mandates all new cars have kill switches. That is the opening that is needed to control where you go or how much fuel you can use. In Oxford England, they are...
  8. Kill switch in 2026?

Or, can the govt mandate we install the kill switch by a certain date that connects to the OBD port. I just do not trust the reason why, when it fits so neatly in controlling your movements and climate hysteria.
  9. Kill switch in 2026?

Everything government does in the name of Health and or Safety ultimately is a grab for more power and weaken your constitutional rights. I imagine that Ford is working on a way to send a signal to your engine that can shut off your vehicle using Sync. All sync equipped vehicles already keep...
  10. Kill switch in 2026?

Supposedly all new vehicles sold in the United States will be required to have a "Kill Switch". Is it possible that Ford can already do that through Sync or create an update to do that? I know OnStar was the technology that was offered years ago but it never took off. They charged too much...
  11. Are deer whistles worth a damn?

Make sure you cover your vehicle in plenty of lights. Fog lights, Baja Lights, Rear bed lights, step lights, search lights, and an extra battery. Wont do much, but you'll be able to see how bad the damage is.
  12. Under Backseat Safe by Console Vault Install w/ Pics

Imagine this on a Ranger. I love the idea of storage that is not very obvious.
  13. Under Backseat Safe by Console Vault Install w/ Pics

    The ultimate concealed long gun.
  14. Under Backseat Safe by Console Vault Install w/ Pics

Its nice to have if you go to the beach and want to keep valuables locked away for a few hours. I would prefer a magnetic lock behind the rear seat for a long gun, but there is hardly any space for that. I would not recommend leaving firearms in a civilian vehicle unattended for very long...
  15. Might be leaving the Ranger family soon..

Gravy over french fries is called... "Disco Fries". A favorite late night 24 hr diner treat after the bars close or a late party. Much better than white castles. Its not a canadian invention. You'll find it a favorite in college towns.
  16. Official map update coming soon…. (Sep, 2022)

I wish that the Andriod Auto didnt have to be plugged in to use Waze or Google Maps. I prefer to wirelessly charge and navigate through the screen.

I would need to drop it off for a few days, then pick it up and store it in the garage. Ive had help using a ramp. I just want something easier that I can do myself and can be of multipurpose use.
  18. Truck bed cranes or truck bed winch with ramp?

I should also add, that in all things, I look for double or even triple duty ways to solve a need that may arise in the future.
  19. Truck bed cranes or truck bed winch with ramp?

I thought about attaching a hoist to the ceiling using a 2x6 as its base lag bolted into the joists. I even saw this video but I do not have a tall ceiling and the garage door takes up a third of the ceiling space when open.
  20. Truck bed cranes or truck bed winch with ramp?

I have a very heavy generator to haul around from time to time. Instead of asking my neighbor to help lift it to the truck bed, Ive been searching for a solution that is simple and quick. I came across these two options. Basically would cost the same if I shop around. Approximately $320-350...
