My exhaust’s shipping was delayed a little bit. I should have my truck with it by Monday or Tuesday though, and I’ll be sure to make some videos once that happens.
I ordered this exhaust actually, should have it in 3-4 days. Once it's installed I'll take some videos!
Also just found these on youtube:
That's hard acceleration:
Moderate acceleration:
Thanks Grey Razor!
(pretty sure these are your videos)
This is interesting because I’ve noticed since this thread that my cloth drivers seat is loose! I’m not easy on it though, it could have to do with sitting on it when sweaty or something. Still a bit disappointing nonetheless
Sure. I used these fork mounts with that special U-shaped attachment; doesn’t matter what brand or anything as long as they have that attachment part.
This is the ratchet cargo bar I used. It works great for up to two heavy mountain bikes, but beyond that I’d suggest a heavier duty one. It can...
In all honesty I’d say three is probably too many; two heavy mountain bikes is my limit. It’s just that the bar isn’t the sturdiest. That being said, I’m sure you could find a more heavy duty bar and do three no problem. The tailgate does shut, though it’s a pretty close fit with my medium sized...
For my truck I actually did an in-bed DIY rack for $40 (probably could've been cheaper) just with a ratcheting cargo bar and some fork mounts:
Used it multiple times with road bikes and heavier mountain bikes and it's worked like a charm! If anybody wants the specific parts just let me know...
Hey there,
Thanks for the information! I do indeed do a lot of short driving and parking for fairly long periods of time, so I might have to save up for stainless. I found another exhaust, this one by Flowmaster, that is stainless and cheaper, so it may be the best of both worlds.
So I’m looking at exhausts right now, particularly the MBRP exhaust, however they make it in both aluminized and stainless versions; the aluminized being $280, the stainless being $510. Obviously the aluminized pricing is very tempting for the price, but is it worth paying the premium for...
I talked to them via email and they said “Hope to have BETA systems ready soon”. Hoping this means before Christmas; I’m trying to get ahold of one as a gift for myself!
Ranger XLT here, all stock except Pedal Commander. I get ~19.2-19.5 on average, pretty heavy foot (the pedal commander doesn’t help!) along with LOTS of stop and go (I’d consider it 100% city, some is highway but Houston highway so just sitting in traffic). Very impressive.
I got one for Black Friday and tested it tonight; wow! In Sport+ that thing absolutely HAULS. I thought I was in Sport+ early on with sad results, but realized it was only City.
So I'm looking to upgrade my Ranger XLT from the silver alloy wheels with Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires to the charcoal wheels with Hankook Dynapro ATMs.
I have no knowledge about tires; will one of these ride significantly nicer than the other? Will the change be an upgrade, downgrade, or just...
Question about the ride; do you think the Hankook Dynapro tires would offer a better ride than the Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires? I'm looking at upgrading to the grey wheels because I like the aesthetics but wondering if the tire change would help or hurt my ride.
So I was looking for performance upgrades that won't void my warranty and was recommended a piggyback tuning module. Burger Performance makes this one for the 2.3L in the Mustang, however they are also working on one for the Ranger currently. I reached out to them and got the message that "A...
