A family of four and a big golden retriever .... Made a dog cot to fit in the centre of the back seat and between the two front seats.
Now the dog can sit and lay down between the children. Works fantastically.
Although I don't have SiriusXM subscriptions, i discovered that the travel link features seem to be available. Many of the SiriusXM options (icons) only become available if you turn the radio on to SiriusXM.
However, the Sirius Alerts options were all turned off until settings - but these may...
I don't use Sirius, but do have that capability in the truck. Where do I find those Sirius settings as I could not find it under the normal settings location.
I am flummoxed!
I had disconnected my phone from the car, turning off the Bluetooth as a test. Tonight on the way home, it started to snow ... Pop! Up comes that "Urgent Message" on the screen.
I guess it is not a message through the phone settings or using phone data. I thought I had disabled...
I thought I had solved it by uninstalling the FP app.
Seemed to greet nothing when my phone was unpaired, (maybe I did not wait long enough.)
But with yesterday's snow the messages are back again.
Disabled all alerts I could find in navigation. Still got the messages.
Now I will check for...
So far:
Day 1, Unpair phone: no messages
Day 2, pair phone: no messages in the morning, are back in the afternoon
Day 3, uninstall Ford Pass App: phone is still paired, no messages the whole day.
It seems like it may be the app.
Do all with the app get messages?
Those who don't get messages...
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10e.
I'm going to remove it from Sync, also forget the Ranger on my phone. Then connect it again to see what the permissions are.
I keep getting "urgent message" pop ups when I travel on highways. Every timer I get onto a new highway or direction. Honestly, I have not had a helpful one. So I would love to know how to turn them off. Any ideas?
@Trey1940 where did you get your Spacers? I can only find then at Stage3 Motor Sports, but they seem to have a slow down at the moment.
Not to worry I found your other post here:
1" Spacers definitely. I expect a 3/4" will also be ok, depending on your wheels. I have the stock black Lariat 18" and they have a 1/4"+ recess on the underside that will facilitate the studs extending 1/4" beyond the Spacer. My advice is take your wheel off and confirm.
@Trey1940 I just wondered if the stock stud bolts were flush with the top of your 1.5" Spacers that would mean they would not fit the 1" Spacer and shorter stud bolts would have to be fitted.
Hi @Grey Razor , any follow-up photos would be greatly appreciated.
where do you route the wires going to the other side?
how did you attach the lights? tape/adhesion promoter, clips, magnets, screws
what gauge wire did you use?
Help contain the strap like @AzScorpion suggested so it does not pretty it out.
Then like @OxyGenIII noticed you need to straighten and tighten your top bracket, so that it stops the cylinder at the back of the tailgate space. If it keeps slipping you may needed to add a gasket (see quote...
I loosened the main hand-knob bolts at the bulk head then edged it back until it was just against the tail gate. Now it folds against the cab, below the light. The rubber stoppers hold it firm.
@Mobius97 , sometimes I needed to tuck in the second panel carefully for now to make it fit as I...
Shims are placed in a number of locations:
There are some added to the bottom of the corner brackets, below the plastic caps so that they side is level. Do it both front and rear
Add shims at the center clamp, between the plastic and metal, before you attach the side rails. I had to use two...
