I have installed my MX4 and it seems to be ok. However, when I fully open it, it rests on the third brake light and not on the window. Do others experience the same? I don't know how much I can shift it towards the tailgate, but that might help a little.

Thanks @Wayne Kubeck. Did it come with a bulk head rail, so that it seals behind the cab? The old (or maybe not old) installation instructions show just a soft foam bulkhead seal. Like a Home Depot's door weather seal. I am hoping they have updated their config.

Hi @Grey Razor , these are great photos and very helpful. Did you use the switches in the end or just use the interior light switch for the cargo/ courtesy lights? How did you attach the LED strips in the bed? Did you just use the tape or also the straps ... not sure if I want to screw them...

Do you have the 1.5" spacers installed in the photos? If so they're a little tight for space, but the 1" or 3/4" spacers should be adequate to give inside clearance and around the wheel well for chains not to foul. This may be the most cost effective solution for adding chains to the front.

Thanks Todd. I would also go with the new fine looking Evo Wingbar style. However, with a few older style on Craigslist at $100 the new price of around $500 is less attractive. I'll see if I can find the fitting kit.

That may be why the Ford installed "Redarc" controller uses the brake light rather than the 4th error in the side panel? Is that what we should doing? I expect the brake lights come on during adaptive cruise control. Can anyone confirm if the fourth "braking" wire only indicates brake pedal...

I understand that an unmarked trailer tire should be presumed to be rated for 65 mph. Otherwise a trailer tire can also have lettered speed ratings on the side wall (L - 75 mph; M - 81 mph)
