  2. Putting on aftermarket intrusion bars

Quick question. Are the side bolts under the fuzzy liner, or actually under the outer plastic fender that the side marker is attached to?
  3. Putting on aftermarket intrusion bars

Ahhhh thank you. I didn’t fully pull the fender liner and was wondering what the heck was going on. I’ll dig deeper this weekend. Thanks for the information!
  4. Putting on aftermarket intrusion bars

I’m stuck in this too. I removed the two bolts for those plastic waffle boards but I don’t see how they come off. Without removed those plastic blocks, the inside bolt cannot be extracted. Anyone have any insight?

  7. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

They reprogramed my PCM to update shifting timing. Not just a reset for new learned behavior.
  8. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

My f150 did the same thing. My ranger does it now after the reprogram. There is slack in the splines on the drive shaft and too little grease. When it releases the bind, that is probably the bump you are feeling. Sometimes it is when you stop. Sometimes it’s when you press the gas to take off...
  9. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

TSB. Transmission. Go to dealer and explain, they will reprogram pcm. Other than that, May be dual drive shaft slack
  10. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

My truck is in the shop for 2nd time regarding this. They have run the TSB which didn't fix it, because it's not transmission related. They also had the transmission guy look things over, no issue there. They checked throttle body. No issues. Replaced EGR, supposedly. No fix. They got a fault...
  11. HAM or GMRS?

So, i'm new to the exploring side since this is my first small 4x4. I do however mountain bike all over the country and know how fast cell reception can drop off. I was wondering which is the better option if exploring in national forests around the nation when cell reception is null. I do...
  12. Bulkhead Bed Rail, angle?

Yeah, didnt go as planned. For the crew cab it was such a tight squeeze that I returned the rail mounts and bought a rack instead. The bike was tweaked to much the side to fit in the bed. Didn't like it at all. I did make a rack out of 2x4 using the bolt holes near the tailgate, same issue. You...

  14. Unable to Locate Vehicle, FordPass

Anyone else run into this issue in FordPass app? It shows everything else updated, but for over a week now it has been unable to locate my truck using the GPS feature.
  15. Clunking sound after auto stop??

Mine does this as well. I bet it is part of the air circulation system moving the vents under the dash, as it lowers the blower etc. Happens to mine every stop as well. Brakes depresses slightly, and feel a small *clunk*. And no THLONE, i don't drive with two feet. I'll experiment today with my...

  17. Nitto Ridge Grappler Questions

Mine are at 2k miles and i've had some vibration issues. Going to try and re-balance them, force balance. If this doesn't fix the problem, not getting them again. I hear horror stories with these tires, as i was researching them before i got the ranger. They look great, but not worth the...

  19. Just SOME of the Warnings I Got Today

  20. THE RANGER BOUNCE

I'm on 265/70/17 nitto ridge grappler (not LT's) at 30 psi, 4x4 crew cab. I bounce more than Will Smith. And yes, I contacted Nitto directly to get the correct pressure for my vehicle weight and tire size application. About to try sandbags in the rear to deter mine if it is rear weight...
