unfortunately that was the first thing ruled out before I even took it to the dealership. They are ordering a full new set of connectors, as when they looked again today they found moisture in multiple connectors in the line. unfortunately they are out in the Maritimes so they have to order from...
Left the truck with the dealership today, they got told by ford to just start going point by point up the system, we shall see what this brings up. Basic translation from the technician was ford is out of specific ideas so we are being told to just giver 'er.
So results from getting it into the shop today. It was indeed loose connectors under the truck. The technician indicated that it apparently is a fairly common occurrence with f150 wire harnesses installed at the factory, although I was the first ranger they'd had.
Update: Issue reoccurred...
So as far as I've been able to find this is a new one. I've been having an issue in snow/ icey weather where when I brake the truck gives a trailer disconnected indicator. When I let off the brake and coast, nothing changes, and when I apply gas and accelerate, the truck displays a trailer...

So we just got the east coast wonder known as persistent sleet accumulation here this last week, I had zero issue holding on steep grade declines on the cooper discover M+S, while many people were taking the express lane to the bottom of the hills if you get the drift, still had some slight...
yes you are right. i misinterpreted my recollection of the law. in Quebec you must have winter tires on dec 1st through march 15. winter tires being defined as having the mountain and snowflake pictogram. and a minimum of 2/32 tread. having driven in every region in this country in mid winter...
new driving.ca review from someone who has a previously enjoyed owning a mid size.

I downsized from 265/60/r18 to 255/70/r16, at least for this first set of tires, the narrower tread width should bite a little deeper in deep snow and give a better chance of finding some pavement. WHile the bigger side wall should help prevent nova scotian pothole syndrome... if im not happy...
don't know about where you are but here the ford dealership has their price match guarantee on all tires they carry, can come in handy when the local tire barn runs a deal.
The winter tire sale my local dealer had ran up as follows for a quote.
cdn $
wheels 352$? sensors 220$?, install balance...
Has anyone been able to confirm if the 2019 Ranger has a dual memory TPMS? additionally, does the truck have a smart controller system for identifying which sensor is located in which quadrant of the car or do you have to manually set up the tires each tire rotation/ seaosnal change?
my ranger has the seat warmers available on the touch screen immediately below the radio display on the home screen. the ony other spot i could access from the touchscreen is through climate then additional settings. I am on version 3.3 (updated via USB)
Didn't have any issues last march in the last 2- 3 snowfalls of the year here. I decided to get 255/70/R16 coopers for the full winter season this year. I was happy with their performance in minimal snow conditions, just not so sure i'd want them on there in the 2 foot + snowfall needing to get...
What kind of actuator is the stop light using? Here we have optical (camera) actuators and pressure plate for interchanges. But it is possible (hypothetically) that if it is a radar actuator, that the radar frequency of the stop light system is close enough to that of the BLIS/ Pre Collision...
I live in a a built up suburb of the regional capital, cart road style downtown so narrow and not well laid out.
I always found that the people i know in full sizes have issues getting into parking/driving around here. Adding onto that the limited size of my garage and that historically I was...
My only thing with that model is how off putting that lack of any body between the grill and the apparent bumper section is... It just doesn't seem right.
It's no more susceptible then any other modern vehicle out today, however many of the people discussing this here live in very salt prone regions, Michigan, Nova Scotia, Ontario, where the local governments use very high amounts of road clearing product which despite all the best protection in...
My dealer included the wax undercoating in the deal for the truck, but I will be switching to Krown once the wax undercoating starts breaking down (supposed to last around 3 years for wax). My Father in Law's cars are a testament that the oil coating works, as they last 15 years in arguably the...
