Well, I had to pay $50 to sign up for the Rt66 club to get the discount, but whatever. I'll try to use the meager benefit throughout the year as a bonus.
We're going to pick up a used travel trailer Thursday (2021 Grand Design, 5,780lbs dry) and the dealer said our sway bar/hitch is old. They want to sell us a new Equal-i-zer 4-point sway control hitch/bar system for $995 installed. We want to be safe. This is what we have, is it sufficient or...
2022 Grand Design 2600RB dry weight 5,795 lbs, GVWR 7,850 lbs, hitch weight 594 lbs. I just saw another person here had towed the same rig quite a distance without problems in a 2019 Ranger. Yes, depends on how much load other than 'dry' weight, completely aware.
Hi, we're eying a travel trailer for our 2021 Ranger XLT that would push the tow rating if fully loaded (7,850 lbs). We're not heading anywhere mountainous, just local, fairly flat terrain, and probably not fully loaded. But still, is there a way to boost the tow rating? We already have the...
I have a 2021 Ranger XLT with a tonneau cover (Ford). There's a small metal/rubber end cap piece on each end of the end of the cover, and one of mine is missing. Any idea where I can get a replacement for that? Thanks in advance.
Yeah, I do RTFM, but these days they all seem so agnostic among different models/trims they're not much use. I actually always read the whole manual for any vehicle I buy. I had thought it said I had this feature, so my bad on that account. Thanks for the help!
I have a 2021 Ranger XLT. I'm used to my vehicles unlocking as I approach them, proximity unlock? Does my new vehicle do this? Maybe my battery is weak in the keys? I don't see a setting for it in the settings anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.
Ok, OP here. We took a trip yesterday and got it all figured out, thanks also to the help here! Correct, pressing the Home (house) button on the steering wheel takes you back to the Sync screen and Sirius.
On that screen is an Android Auto button to get back to AA, and you can just press the...
Thanks! I'll try it when I'm in the vehicle later today. Will it also take me back to Android Auto if I press a second time? If not, what's the best way to do that?
New to Ford Ranger (just bought 2021 XLT used). When I'm driving, I usually have Android Auto on the screen for navigation. Often I want to temporarily switch back to my Sirius XM screen on the truck display to pick a new channel. I can't see how to switch back and forth. Thanks in advance for...
