If you off road often and like to go fast the Kings can be worth it.
But if you go a few times a year or like to take your time on the trails something like a more budget setup like Bilstein 5100/Eibach Pro Truck/Fox 2.0 is totally sufficient. I wouldn't go with a Rough Country lift.
When you pop the links off, you don't have to tie down or remove the sway bar. It is held in by bolts to the frame rails and it won't flop down or get in the way of anything. I know with some Toyota's you have to remove the sway bar completely or else it'll flop down and hit stuff, but we don't...
Thanks guys! Through your suggestions I finally dropped the engine skid to install a Valvomax to be safe. Already excited to use it in the next oil change!
Did you guys have problem with the oil from the oil filter trough spilling on top of the transmission skid a little when it was draining...
Agreed that they are somewhat thin and dent easily. I believe they are the same as the FX4 Skid just painted black. They should be fine for forest road/light off road or careful moderate offroad, but definitely wouldn't trust dropping it on any rocks (not that they were ever intended for that!)
I recently added Steel RCI Skids to my Ranger. Love em! Heavy duty as hell and i've already banged them up a little.

On my Tremor with a stock tune, stock suspension, and 33 inch tires, I get about around 17.4 with 70% highway driving. I don't have an aftermarket bumper like you though.

I think there is a strange fascination with the fixation of what is "real" truck. To me, if it has a bed, it is indeed a pickup truck, regardless of whether it is unibody, its tow rating, payload, off road capability, whatever.
Are some trucks better at doing work than others? Yes! But I think...
