Installed engine cover! Used a bit to much anti seize on threads. Pennzoil and castrol stickers shown to show I have freed myself from the Amsoil cult. ? All in good fun but it’s seriously Pennzoil or Castrol only from now on.

Birthday oil change done today. My birthday so I celebrated by trying Pennzoil Ultra! Also had garage install black lug nuts. I had black center caps but despite Levittown Ford Parts saying it would fit, they do not. I’ll make something with them. ?

Looking for recommendations for a fender cover when I do basic maintenance checks. Overkill I’m sure but still would like one…maybe. ?

Actually i check after rain and even after the heavy rains…always BONE DRY in the engine compartment.

Maybe I should just buy an aftermarket third brake light like the morimto one and hope it seals better. ?

I’ll monitor it for sure. We had a boat load of rain yesterday. I wash my truck weekly just about and water never got in. I also park downhill and that probably didn’t help things. I have an appointment for service in a few weeks, but it’s a local shop that I trust. I’ll see what they think then...

Good point… Interesting how the headliner was dry, you think it would be damp?

How long did the dealership keep the truck? I wonder if this is something I can try and fix myself.

Rained a lot yesterday in the Carolinas…noticed this morning, rear passenger side (horrible pic I know). However it’s dry to the touch and the line is dark…most headliner water stain pictures are almost an orange color. Thoughts?

I see the drip! Mine has a lot of foam there and I park downhill passenger side angle down so the water hopefully mostly goes downhill also. But all the foam under the cowl eventually gets very wet. I may just start parking facing uphill or I have a small level spot on my driveway I may...
