The best to happen is these new vehicles will have increased towing capacity. So they can pull that ICE generator on a trailer behind them to always have charge capability. Also give range enhancement.
When I was growing up in Florida all the license plates had a county code.. orange county was 7.
My wife's family.owned a family.motel and would not rent to couples with a 7 license plate.
Later all rental cars had plates that started with a Z. That changed when the kooks on Miami started...
Let's say you're thinking of a 22' sea ray bowrider. It's got a specd weight of 3800, add a trailer, say 1,000. All up, 4800 pounds, so 500lbs on the hitch. Get 2 of your buddies to sit on the tailgate and see how the truck sits.
My 26' bay boat is only about 4500, + 2k trailer putting about...
I don't like your options.
Crush: Yellow 1974 Pinto I drove in high school. Nothing spelled nerd more than driving a known fire hazard in a high vis color.
Sell: 1988 Toyota pickup standard can. Reliable, but couldn't get out of its own way, especially with the air on.
Keep: 2021 Ranger...
You only earn a Stoopid JR title for that. I however, proudly wear the crown of Stoopid SR. From your other posts it looks like you had 3 days before marring your new house. I did it within the first 10 minutes. I backed my truck into my new garage with the topper window up delivering our first...
We didn't get an "included gauge" for drilling the panels. Putting in the footwells and firewall was a terrible experience. Add to it that I was working with my teenage son, who at the time was ate up with girls, and I spent a lot of time reworking it. However, the car turned out great, went to...
I built one of the Cobra replicas (FFR3341) back in the early 2000s. Nice kit, but it required a lot of additional engineering to get it competition ready. Hopefully they have picked up their game and are including a lot more of the necessary parts that don't require a lot of hand rework.
I'm going to sleep on it a few days. Got to think about how to get the turn signal function out to the mirrors. Since I toe a large boat the clear views would be a better option, but I don't want some big thing out there for the majority of time I'm not towing.
Ford is spending big bucks to eliminate quality issues from Super Duty. Will they do the same with the 6G launch?

I'm of the trouble free ilk. But, I purchased the truck with 8k on the odometer, there were 2 warranty work orders when I got it.
But, I agree that most people only post when something goes wrong. And really why wouldn't they? You don't usually need advice or condolences when all you do is...
I'm not sure I agree that they look like every other SUV. Forgetting that for a moment, have you ever driven or ridden in a Porsche anything? Once you have, it's all over but figuring out the finances. Most fun car I've ever owned was a boxster and ridden is was a 911 driven by someone who knew...
Waiting to see specs on the new power trains. Currently leaning toward a new Colorado/Canyon with 390 lb/ft of torque without a tune. I'll be interested to see if Ford takes that bait from GM.
