  1. Oil found in charge pipe/intercooler

I'd say it's about a teaspoon. I didn't check the compressor outlet but if I have time I can check it this weekend.
  2. Oil found in charge pipe/intercooler

2020 Ranger here Was replacing the charge pipe going from the intercooler to the throttle body (it was deforming and super soft from the heat cycles) and notice oil pooling at the bottom of the tube. Stuck my hand in the intercooler as much as I could and felt a layer of oil on the walls...
  3. Clunking at low speeds, differential, wheel bearings?

Hey guys I've been trying to narrow down this noise I began hearing a week ago. I first noticed a tumbling/clunking sound when I am slowly approaching to a stop and then slowly accelerating. I dont notice anything at regular speeds. I can also hear it more when im coasting at slow speeds (it's...
  4. 5100 too stiff on rear?

I took a bit of everyones advice and did what @RedDakooter05 did by putting about 300 lb of weight in the form of 3 horse stall mats (about 95 pounds each). I trimmed them so they can fit long ways since our beds are short. I also removed the shocks, primed them around 10 times (you can feel...
  5. 5100 too stiff on rear?

Yeah I put 200 lb of sand bags right over the rear axle but I'll add another 100 just to see what happens. Can you link me that thread about swapping the springs?
  6. 5100 too stiff on rear?

Hi all, I installed 5100s on all four wheels and I love the way they look, especially when it's leveled with the back (give or take half an inch) but I can't get over how rough the rear shocks feel around sudden road imperfections like expansion joints or pot holes. It feels like the shocks...
  7. Forscan and transmission repair under warranty

Is the "-B" the revised transmission with the new cdf drum design?
  8. Forscan and transmission repair under warranty

Luckily I didn't mess with anything else besides resetting the transmission tables. Next time I have a weekend off I'll take it in and have them check that out as well as the drive shift spline as I also get that annoying thud when I'm in drive and let go of the brakes ?.
  9. Forscan and transmission repair under warranty

Hi all, I have a 2020 Ranger with 38K miles on it, built in 11/20. I am having issues with my truck's transmission. From a stop with 30-40% throttle the truck always hangs at around at 2500 pm for a second and then revs up to 4500 before it shifts to 4th or 5th. When it finally shifts you can...
  10. Shielding fell off of truck

 totally possible if mine is still attached!
  11. Shielding fell off of truck

I can see this looks a lot like it based on the circle pattern. I'll take a look and reapply with better adhesive. Thanks
  12. Shielding fell off of truck

Hey guys it's been raining super hard where I live for the past couple of days and just now I found this piece of shielding hanging on my right rear wheel hub rubbing on the inside of the tire.(flexible fiber/cardboard feel, not metal with one side having adhesive). Any idea where it goes? Part...
  13. Parts Backordered

My Ranger has been in the service lot for most a month now waiting for a new gateway module. My biggest fear is that it won't fix the issue and they'll just order another part.
  14. Evap blocking valve stuck open

Well a few days ago they told me what's been happening, supposedly, is the gateway module needs to be replaced and that it has been throwing false codes to the main computer. So they said it's on backorder, then I asked again for a status update, and was told there are none in the country, huge...
  15. Evap blocking valve stuck open

Little update: Service advisor tells me the shop foreman hasn't reached a diagnosis yet and wants to refer to the ford tech hotline. I'm not sure where it'll go from here. I'm at a week with my truck in the shop. :(
  16. Evap blocking valve stuck open

Could you please link me this thread?
  17. Evap blocking valve stuck open

I don't think they changed anything else but the valve itself. I checked the fill port flap right after the code popped up a second time and the spring had a pretty good tension on it so I'm not sure it's that. Totally possible though.
  18. Evap blocking valve stuck open

Hey all, first time posting here. I've been checking the forums to see if there are others with a similar issue I have but I haven't seen anything. I have a 2020 Ranger XLT FX2 with about 4200 miles. Engine build date is OCT 2020 and body build date is Nov 2020. A week ago I got a sudden CEL and...
