  1. Help me determine what's hanging down from my radiator, please.

    This looks like a weather seal of some sort hanging down from my radiator. Anyone here have an idea what this might be? Would this be a warranty issue? Thanks for your help.

    I've done 3 oil changes myself on the Ranger and each time I get out about 5 1/2 quarts of oil. I drain the pan, then move to the filter. This last time I removed the oil cap and dip stick before draining thinking that I may have a vacuum of some sort keeping oil from draining, but it didn't...

  3. Kirkland brand oil?

    In the past, I've used Shell Rotella oil for my oil changes, but the price has nearly doubled in the past year. I'm tempted to use the Kirkland or Walmart brand synthetic oil. Would either of these be a mistake? I'm not sure if they are "certified" for use in our trucks.
