I followed your lead, or LED, and Replaced them today. Took about 3-4 mins and some electrical tape. Looks good.

Replaced the puddle lights with some new LED lights. Not hard at all...3-4 mins per light, a little electrical tape and there you go!

If you still have the OEM filter it has an arrow on the side. I think the air flows up. I didn't‘t see the arrow until I had flipped it around a few times, but it makes sense it would push air out the vents better that way, but I could be wrong.

Went to take mine off...it hurt. The bracket had rubbed the paint all the way through. Could even see the black beneath the paint. It was painful to look at, couldn’t even bear to take a picture of it. Will try to touch up and see how bd it looks and if I can remove the bracket.
