I'm starting my build thread today. I took delivery on my 2019 Ranger Lariat on Oct, 18th. My plans for this truck include a 3" lift, probably Icon gear, BFG KO2 tires, new wheels, Raptor grille, spray on bed liner, tonneau cover, rock sliders, probably a new front bumper with winch, decal...

That's what I used, except I went for gloss black. I didn't get a satisfactory enough finish, so I'm debating sanding down and redoing the grille.

I started painting my new grille. I pick my new truck up on Monday, so it will be the first mod. I still have work to do... gonna paint the surface of the letters gloss black and leave the red outline and then I'm painting the border of the grille either magnetic, like the rest of the truck...

I received my Raptor style grille and I am having trouble getting a nice finish on the paint. It keeps getting eggshell/bubbling. I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Has anyone painted their grille or the letters? If so, what prep did you do and what type of paint did you use? Did you use...

Are your rear taillight lens aftermarket? If not, how did you get that look. I like it

My truck is Shadow Black, so the Ford letters will be gloss black. I got the sport 4x4 package, so the trim is Magnetic. I'll have to see how that looks and possibly paint the frame of the grille magnetic to match.

My new Raptor grille came today. I don't have my truck yet, it should be here by the 16th or 17th, so I'm getting excited. Now, I guess I have time to paint the grille and get it ready for the swap.
