Looks like you did a perfect job in achieving flush to your flares imo. Thanks for posting as this helps me confirm a 295 tire on a +1 offset 17x9 should accomplish the same (I hope!). I plan on RTR flares but should be close to same as rough country says these are 1.75" coverage and RTR is 1.5"...
They say that things come in threes.
I finally broke down and ordered some RTR Tech 6 wheels in 17x9 0+ this evening.
Levittown currently has the Roush Intake on sale for $319 - I'm hoving over the buy button, but damn, muh wallet is crying.

Has anyone installed these on a Ranger? I think they would look pretty good but the 17x9 -12 has me a little concerned they are going to stick way out there. I don't think they are offered in other offsets or widths that I have found yet...
I can’t foresee needing to cut into the wheel well, but the backspacing and/or offset will be something to pay attention to; don’t want that working against you. Hopefully other members can chime in about their experiences.
I think I’m gonna go with the Toyo RT 305s not sure on the wheel yet but probably a 17x9 or so. I really like the looks of 305s but I don’t want to cut into my wheel well very much and I’m not sure if that’ll be the case with 305s
Good looking truck! 295/70/17 is close to the tire I want to run. I wanna run a 305/70/17 do you think that extra 1/2” taller and about an 1” or less wider would cause rubbing issues? Particularly offroading? Obviously crash bar delete and 3” level
...Really like Method MR316, but only come in +0mm offset, which might be too much as I'd like to keep the tires in their wells. Fuel Shok comes at 17x9 +20mm offset so rim width is another concern.
Also, what do you think of bronze rims on black truck? Or go full murdered out?
I'll be getting...
I'm looking at 17x9 +6 offset with 285/70/17. Is this pic at stock height? Did you have rubbing before removing the crash bars or did you just preemptively remove them to make more room. I'd prefer not to remove or cut. How high did you lift? Your truck looks friggin' awesome btw.
...this weekend. Looking at buying some tires today for cyber monday. Any insight if 265/70R17 will fit without rub with these? I went with the 17x9 +30, and I'm totally stock w/FX4. I saw some discussion on this in the tire fitment thread, but wondering if anyone with the RTR rims could confirm fit
Awesome, thank you. You are just leveled, correct - no other lift? Any rubbing?
I really like the stance of your truck with the 285's. I am running 275/65/18's right now and want to get a bit more of a "meaty" look, which will mean swapping wheels. Love the Shoks, and think that they will look...
