  1. What did you do to your Ranger today?

2019 with 39k. I have an extended warranty I'll be trying out. While I was looking for problems, I pulled the plugs. No rusty, siezed plugs though this Ranger has lived it's life outside since I've had it.
  2. Rear Brake Wearing

Almost 39k and need rear rotors and pads. Not down to the wear bar yet but close. Front fine and will probably go another 39k. Took everything apart and greased it up. I've had issues with other Ford rear calipers seizing but there don't act the same. I guess I know what I'm doing on my time off...
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Fffffff And need tires and rear rotors and pads. At least I know what that occasional clunk is now. Time to try out the extended warranty.
  4. Who's ranger did I buy?

Not it! Still have mine and back doors are too big. Also wrong year but right color. Enjoy!
  5. Opinions needed

Sure I'll give an opinion. Throw some cinder blocks in the bed to lower the rear end. Cheap and easy to do. Also easily reversible by leaving the tailgate down and flooring the pedal on the right. :like:

  7. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

How many people live in a house that has a milk chute? ?
  8. Paracord around grab handle

Why are we resurrecting old threads? Not enough new threads on old subjects? Maybe time to pull out bed height threads, fuel in oil, or shifter lights discussions.
  9. Sold my Ranger... Leaving the group

It is kind of funny how so many opinions changed just because of his involvement in a little cost reduction. Suddenly the darling of greeness is the prince of darkness. Pretty sure he didn't change.
  10. Ford investing $4 million in scholarships for auto technicians

I'll vouch for trade schools. Tried college in the 80s and it bored the hell out of me. Went to electronics school, excelled in the classes and was helping out the instructors. Went on to a job with the parent company of the school which happened to be in the auto test tools industry. Fun job...
  11. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

I must admit, my kids and I still shoot the straw papers at each other. My wife just rolls her eyes. The best is when I'm out to dinner with my parents and shoot the paper. You have to grow old, you don't have to grow up.
  12. Darwin Award Thread

I get that. But for me to fill up and noone be at the car the whole time is excessive when others are waiting to use the pumps. Don't sit there and eat gas station sushi while parked at the pumps. Park your car so others can go about thier lives. Twice in a month recently. And seeing that im...
  13. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

I think the big M on the back explains it all. OH..!!
  14. Darwin Award Thread

I've had it happen twice where a car was parked at the pumps when I pulled up. Finished filling up and still the car is sitting there with noone around. And there were plenty of spots in front of the store to park. Do you park in the drive thru too? I just don't understand that dumbass...
  15. An interesting test regarding transmission fluid level readings measured at different ambient temps

Yes Sport too. Not a lot of SCABs out there. And I can think of a lot worse hobbies. ;)
  16. An interesting test regarding transmission fluid level readings measured at different ambient temps

I'm certainly no expert but would air pressure affect the level of the fluid? May have more influence than a few degrees of temp.

  18. Tried To Install Them On My 2023 Lariat……

  19. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Yes, surplus WWII P51 purchased by Jimmy Doolilttle and modified for the air races, renamed "Second Fiddle"
  20. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

The Ranger took Dad and I to the Cleveland History Museum, formerly known as the Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum. Feature display was Mustangs. Nice winter storage for a bunch of cars. Dad talked about seeing the Cleveland air races back in the day from and aunt and uncles house that was...
