  2. You might be a Redneck if...

Judging by the cab, an 80s chevy. Cadillac front fenders? Box no idea but likely heavily modified.
  3. Decided to do a little tinkering

Well it was either put the door back on without fixing it or taking it all apart again after I figured out where to get a pin. Wasn't too bad to extract the pin with a pin extractor. I used a solid piece of copper wire to repair the pin, then crimped the new wire to it and soldered together. Was...
  4. Stolen tail light thread

That's different than stealing tailights, catalytic converters, and anything left inside.
  5. 2021 Tremor Purring only in reverse

I'm so glad I can't hear so well as I would probably worry about all kinds of sounds in my vehicles. I get to enjoy them free from worry.
  6. Stolen tail light thread

You give thieves too much credit. 1. You assume they can read. 2. You think the are smart enough to think of that. 3. You think they are motivated enough to take anything more than an easy target
  7. Gov’t mandated kill switch coming in ‘26

And they will sell it to you as 'Oh, but it's for the good of the people' BS, the only people it's good for is the ones in control.
  8. Decided to do a little tinkering

Nice job! Pulled out the sodering gun myself a couple weekends ago and fixed a broken terminal on the Edge. Soldered the new wire to the old, added some shrink tube and its been working fine.

I'm with you. If I had to chose one, it would be the second one.
  10. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Took the boat to the welder today. Boy what a difference towing it when its stripped down. Definitely not enough tongue weight. Glad I was on city streets and the shop was only 20 minutes away. Never noticed this before when towing. Looks like the blind spot monitoring was off. Didn't have...

That's a no. Too much chrome.
  12. Traded in the Ranger today

Sounds like you put a lot of money into something you didn't really like. Good luck with your new money pit. :like:
  13. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Something to be aware of with these is you need to "see" the satellite for it to work. If you are in heavily wooded area, it may not get signal. Same would go for valleys, mountains, caves... We had one with us on a remote fishing trip over the summer and someone would have to stand on the rocks...
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Meet you all over in the Friday night drunk posting thread...
  15. Non Ranger content

Car shopping with my daughter today and VW near us is short on Jettas. Salesman check in Ohio and there weren't may to be had. Asked about delivery times on orders and he said it could be 6 weeks or 6 months. Oh, and they delete items also due to chip shortages. Toyota had a few Corollas and...
  16. TSB 20-2374 Trailer Connected/Disconnected Warnings In The IPC

To prevent this, use a little dielectric grease on the connector before winter sets in. I use it on all electrical connections I work on. :like:
  17. poor bronco...

Been adjusting my mirrors that way since I learned to drive. Never needed a blind spot mirror or felt the need to always look at the rear quarter of my vehicle.
  18. You might be a Redneck if...

The one with the ladder reminded me that I repurposed a ladder over the weekend. Needed a door 'suspender' while I fixed the window switch wiring. The plastic rain bonnet, held on the roof by speaker magnets, was needed since it decided to rain while I was doing it. Pretty sure I can redneck...
  19. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

Sounds like a lot of people on the forum don't know how to park with the number of transmission failures.?
  20. Infotainment Warning Message

Airline Tech would be able to describe it better. SOC=State of Charge. I think of it as the higher the % the more your battery charges. But higher the %, the more chance of sulfation in the battery which will shorten its life so its a balance of not too much, not too little. You'll need Forscan...
